Beauty Sleep
I wait,
For eternity in a trance,
Bones waste away,
While my king and queen sit in sorrow
And years snore away.
Winters turn and then return
Nothing new
Silence is harder to handle day by day
We have come to a point
Where generations start to forget.
I’m dead-alive
But time never ages me.
Until a prince comes along,
This time, eyes fly open, when a charming
Kiss is wisped across my lips.
His highness wakes me from Malificiant’s coma.
I can live my happily ever after!
