The Heart of the Ocean

Your thirst is deep.
Water is always awake.
It reaches all sides of Earth,
And every cell in your body.
Vast colors have no limits
It all depends on reflecting light,
Casting shadows, creating dark sides.
Water’s surface is uneven.
Every new angle gives it meaning,
And we deeply need it.
Your love is deep.
Your arms are always open.
They reach all sides of my Earth,
And every cell in my body.
Love’s colors have no limits,
That’s part of the charm.
It has shadows and dark sides.
Love is hard to explain with words.
Its many dialects give it meaning
And we deeply need it.
