Shipwrecked
While beautiful Colors stream past
The only noise is my respirator,
Keeping me alive under all this pressure.
My passion pulls me deeper
Into the rusted castle, sunk so long ago.
When I enter, the world is dark.
However, as my eyes adjust
I am reminded that I dive
To see the beauty of this vessel trapped in time.
The walls have lost their paper,
And the plants have grown abundantly,
But the ship has not lost its beauty.
I contemplate surfacing
But why would I want to leave this world of old.
There is still so much to explore.
