Who Owns the Air?
Who owns the air?
Maybe the God that created the heavens and the earth,
the land and sea.
The God that loves me.
The God that has forsaken me.
Who owns the air?
Maybe the pilots that use the air to scour the globe,
Leaving contrails to find their ways back home.
I once wanted to be like the pilots.
The pilots that we all have to trust.
Who owns the air?
Maybe the dreamers own the air,
The ones that see the sky as one more barrier to break through.
The dreamers that invented things that dirtied the air.
The dreamers that now invent to clean the air.
