This Moment was Gone
The moment I realized,
I was lost in my one train of thought.
My attention would soon be lost in
the long and lingering wave to live.
The moment I realized
I am only seventeen,
I felt as though an old lady,
who had experienced all that she could.
The moment I realized,
I wasn’t yours.
Things were changing daily,
but as everyday grew we lost connection
The moment I realized
this moment was gone.
The moment I realized,
my time was up.
