Tornado
Fill the air
With whispers
And sideways glances
As the wind lifts
Cover your head
And giggle in the falling debris
It won’t end yet
Stay on the ground
And tuck in your shirt
As the roof flies away
And falls on someone else’s head
Stifle a laugh as the elder is crushed
And gossip down the line
Until you are lifted as well
Swirled away in the wind
Still laughing.
