Alive in The Wind
Wind blows through my hair,
Intricately knotting each and every strand.
The volume of the music inches up and up
As the forces of the wind intensify.
Half of my arm flails out of the window,
The entire world within my reach.
Pearly white with wheels allows me to see the world;
To witness it on a first hand account.
The wheels guide me to places I have not wandered,
Yet I don’t wander far.
And I’m left traveling down the same roads.
The roads that carried the winds that knotted my hair,
Made me turn up the volume,
And allowed me to think.
Forces of the wind give me life.
Feeling the most alive,
I often wonder if I’m not.
Music running through my ears
And wind streaming over my face,
My mind being boggled with thoughts,
I am reminded that I am alive.
I am alive.
