What made me, me
The morning chocolate milk,
and the late night Ice Cream,
The Sunrise watching on the porch,
and the Sunset gaze's on the trampoline,
The fake smiles, I wore during the day,
and the constant tears, I shed at night,
The shattered dreams, of my mom and dad,
And that one memory, of the final divorced fight,
The same Dang lie I told my friends,
The same three words, I used every day,
I wish they'd know how much it hurts,
but all they would say, is "it will be ok"
The morning, heartbreak, when my dads not here,
The late night crying, when I know it wont be okay,
The Sunrise's where I used to Lean on his shoulder,
And the sunset thoughts, "I have to do it all over, Just like today"
