Because of You MAG
You tell me to write whatever I’m thinking
You tell me to write whatever I’m feeling
I am angry
I am angry at his graying hair, ashy breath,
and orange light
I am angry at her glassy eyes, bruised veins,
and sharp bones
I am angry at his fat belly, greedy hands, and
pitying manner
I am angry at her spiteful words, selfish
actions, and hostile tones
I am angry at the cold water, little food, and
empty hearts
I am angry at their snide comments, odd
looks, and disgusting terms
I am angry at the people who demand, control,
and contort
I am angry at my mirror, my bones, and my
stomach
I am angry at my brain, my heart, and my soul
I am angry at this world, this country,
this school
I am angry for keeping it all to myself.
