Vintage cassette tapes
peeling leather seats,
cigarette smoke and all the vices.
Late-night drives,
low flashing lights,
kisses and eyelashes gasping.
Dirty black clothes,
lip stained mirrors,
crumpled one dollar notes.
Smeared dark eyeliner,
chipped cracked nails,
soundless laughter in cars.
Burning lonely stars,
Red hot fire,
waves lap, one after the other.
