Did you look both ways?
Did you look both ways before you crossed my mind?
Apparently not
Because now I'm paying for your mistake of falling in love with me
But how could I have seen it coming
It came out of nowhere
How could I know that endless night on Skype would turn into what we had
How those three common words made us cringe
We both hated each other to the point where we mistook it for the missing pieces of the puzzle
You looked like the missing piece of the puzzle that I accidentally vacuumed
But I rotated and rotated and it just didn't fit
How was I supposed to know,
You helped me piece it all together and promised me a complete picture
But all you gave me was nothing but a missing piece to someone else's puzzle.
