Wicked winter wind
Freezing me
Ignite in my eye
Front of me
“With the flame
Loved as a child
The fire,
That taught you pain”
Taught you to endure
The coldness
Taught you to stop
The hatred.
Darkness
Made the light
Shining bright
Flashing
Around Christmas tree
With all the smiling
On my family’s faces.
