humming bird

Laughter bestowed upon,
A humming bird that wanted to run
A hummingbird that hummed
At the taste of rum
The humming bird sang
A heart as bright as the sun,
yet being frowned upon
The hummingbird's flight had just begun
So fragile and tender,
Yet, the humming bird never surrendered
the hummingbird hums, at the taste of rum
a fog of light, destined to end its flight
A nectar at a time, feasting, to end its prime
