In the Summer
I met you in the summer,
for three days we laughed and talked and cried.
For three days,
I thought we met for a reason.
It's been six months,
I still think we met for a reason.
Six more months I must wait,
to see you kind and open face.
Will you be the same,
will I?
Will we find out,
when I see you in the summer.

This is a piece I wrote after meeting a friend at a church summer camp. It's also my first piece of poetry, enjoy!
