The colors of my life

I am mostly money green—
true thoughts kept locked away and
only handled by those who are trusted.
I turn into a lava red at times—
the fire within me burns out of control and
creates a burst of flames that cannot be contained.
They mix to create a dandelion yellow—
beautiful in the open field until
they begin to fade away with the wind.
