Colors
Most of the time I am white like paper;
blank to the page but filled with knowledge when written upon,
tucked away but taken out when needed.
Part of me is yellow like a sunflower;
strives to grow but only when the sunlight enriches my roots,
whips around in the wind but only when surrounded by other sunflowers.
But buried under I am a deep blue like the ocean;
a calm surface but can create intoxicating waves within,
appears beautiful but is taken advantage of.
Yet I am all these colors combined;
unique but only when the colors are together.
