Monsters
I used to be afraid of the monsters under my bed
and in my closest.
I used to let them in my dreams
And undo the seams
Of my reality.
The monsters in my closest
and the ones under my bed
plus the ones inside my head
bow down in fear and dread
To me
They cry and plea
For me
To set them free
I used to be afraid of the monsters under my bed
and in my closest.
No more.
For fear of the unknown shuts there door.
No more monsters under my bed
and in my closest
and in my head.
