So I will Resist
So I will resist
I could be blind
And see your face
It’s cemented in my mind
I see it all over the place
Your soft skin
Your chapped lips
Your eyes that memorize
I want to forget but I just can’t seem too
No matter how hard I try
Memories run laps in my mind
I can’t still feel each strand
Of black hair pass through my fingers
I can fondly recall how called my name
Your raspy voice filled the planes
Of every dimension
I try to forget you
But it doesn’t work
I try to resent you
But the feeling converts
I just can’t seem to get you out of my head’
I just can’t seem to forget you
I want you
I need you
I can’t have you
But I want you
You’re like poison in my tea
You’re like toxin in the sea
Killing me with every sip
Draining life out of every fish
You are curse in disguise
You are the demon I love
But our love must die
For I cannot have you
But I want you
I crave you
But you are no good
So I will resist
