A Raven's Darkness
If you wonder why I'm in my bed
My hair ruffled around my head,
And why I'm watching from afar,
Its's because my life is bizarre.
I wear a smile to keep friends at bay,
Because I could never, ever say
The thoughts racing thorugh my head.
Outside, I'm alive, but inside, I'm dead.
I always smile, laugh, cheer,
But inside, my voice is too quiet to hear.
You see me and think my life is great
But you are wrong; everthing's to hate.
Inside my mind is an ocean that roars,
Outside, I'm a girl with a dream that soars.
When I'm mad, you won't know it,
When I'm sad, I won't show it,
One day, my thoughts will burst, and then I'll blow it.
Outside, I'm a songbird with a song in my heart,
Inside, I'm a raven, my darkness just about to start.

I wrote this, and it's usually not my type. I just moved, and felt kind of sad, and I usually write happier poems. I just felt I had to express my feelings in a way, and then this poem was born.
