I will have no regrets
I sit, and I wait, and I cry,
But no one hears me.
So I stand, and I stumble, and I scream,
But still, no one hears me.
I don’t want to move,
I don’t want to stand,
I don’t want to be rejected,
And yet I do it all again.
I make more mistakes,
And though I fall on my face,
I will stand, I will stumble, I will fall,
But I will have no regrets of my blunder,
And although others may call it folly,
I will stand, and I will stumble, and I will scream,
So that the world may hear my pain.
Then maybe if I’m lucky,
I will walk a few steps,
And I will cry for joy,
So that the world may hear my happiness.
Again I will fall, but I will do it all over.
I will have no regrets.
