The Wind Does Not Remember
The wind does not remember
It does not remember what it has done.
It does not remember the hurricane
Where It wreaked havoc among the poor.
It does not remember the tsunami
Where it destroyed the shore.
It does not recall the squall
Where it ruined the calm sea.
It does not remember the tempest
Where it tossed those who simply wanted to be.
It simply continues to float on.
But the Wind is not malicious.
It brings the seeds of flowers
To fertile grasses.
The seed grows into a pretty flower,
For wild animals to come and devour,
But the Wind does not remember.
The Wind does good but it cannot remember.
The Wind does evil but it cannot remember.
The Wind remembers not the good nor the bad.
Just as it should.
The Wind simply does as it does,
And goes as it goes,
And the Wind is Happy.
It simply continues to float on.
We should aspire to be like the Wind.
We should not dwell on the good or the bad.
We should just float on and let go.
For everything is forgotten in the wind.
