Who Cares What Others Think?
My body is mine.
I have no shame.
I don’t care what you think.
Who cares about a flat stomach?
Or a thigh gap?
Or a tiny waist?
Or the numbers on the scale?
My body is all mine.
Why does society criticize different body shapes?
Are they ugly?
Are they fat?
Are they gross?
What do these words even mean?
Who are you to decide what is perfect?
What makes it attractive?
Less eating.
Exercise obsession.
Is that really healthy?
Maybe you should get to know me first.
Because my body shouldn’t define me.
I don’t care what you think!

Society today as created such a defined image of the perfect body image. Girls should not feel ashamed of their bodies and should not feel as if they need to conform to any expectations. I hope this will encouage others to not only stop judging others, but to also reflect on these expectations.
