Seasons
Winter
Where I want to be:
In the frost,
with the wind,
feel a chill
on your skin,
snow is falling
all night long,
we light a fire
the snow gets higher,
Winter, is where I want to be.
Spring
Color sprouts from every crack
Sweet aromas fill the air
Growth is everywhere
Green is everything
Birds are singing
In the bright spring sun
Summer
It is much too hot
And I hate to say it but
I don’t like summer
Fall
Red, orange, yellow leaves,
Blue sky,
Brown trees,
Pale skin,
Slight breeze,
Leaves are falling
To the floor
But I still smile
Every time.
