“There something hidden in all of us. Small gift waiting to be discovered.” ~Jacqueline Woodson

As the sun rises, it blinds me
The morning brings waves from the east
As the soft breeze travels and glides on top of the waves,
The waves crash down
Loud echoes travel across the river
Travel across to the city
Faint sounds of cars driving fast
Are drowned out by the melodies of birds chirping
The orchestra goes quiet while morning passes by
Honks and horns are sound again
Motors starting up are a tune
Not a tune for the morning
A tune for the afternoon

I wrote this piece of poetry in the early morning, taking some time admiring the nature and ligh5 around me. I took advantage of my mind deep in though during that morning, and wrote a poem about it right after. Enjoy!
