Feverish
Swimming.
The walls are swimming in colors
The pills are little more than lovers
Useless in the end.
Feverish.
You are sick.
You are dying, and you don't even know it.
you’re too ill to know.
The butterfly carpet stained with memories is where you leave your life.
They’ll miss you.
Your caterpillar personality laced with morbid love
You’ve been dying for a long time.
Typing nonsense last words
Trying to be heard
Febrile and broken
Your speech smeared like the old gel pens i still hold on to.
I don't want to let go, so soon and so easily
I’d stay locked in the closet with the skeletons all day if you asked
They pull me away from your bedside
Where you mumble curses under your breath you don't understand.
You laugh sometimes, and I wonder what you’re dreaming of.
Feverish.
Broken.
You are sick,
You are dying
But you’re too ill to know it.
