She was a rainbow, but they were colorblind.

The tales are all the same

the King locks the girl in the tower

hides her from society

and then she is found

and saved by a prince

the truth is

no one can save a girl

from the damage that has been done

by her own "king"

It is a short poem about how you can't save a girl from her father, relating it to the classic fairy tales where the king hides his daughter in a tower.
