Circumbscribing Life
Do not shed a tear for me,
I am flourishing in the sicles of death’s cold gaze
The slivers of moonlight slowly abscond
Towards the vernal tides.
Do not wail aloud,
Your shrieks shall plummet towards the recesses
Of a rocky edifice,
Bereft of meaning and thought
So carefully imbued
In each wanton syllable,
Cloistered from the wind
To drown out your sorrow.
Do not hold a heavy heart,
Your thoughts will only vanish
In the dichotomy between love and war
Never more to turn a head
Towards what the fruits of labor are for.
Do not utter a word,
Your voice is forever gone
Dissipated in the heated battles
The lingering hatred
enshrouding us all.
