Life
It could be up, it could be down
You could be winning, you could be losing
One minute your flying through the air
The next you could be passed and forgotten
Diving towards positive decisions
So close, but so far
Take the risk and catch feelings
Or have Spalding slapped across your face
Smoothly dodge drama
Or simply fall at its feet
Is it life
Or is it basketball?

I wrote this about basketball. More importantly, how it compares to life. The two are very similar for many reasons, which is why i chose to write about them. In my poem I write about how the characteristics of life are hard but we overcome the hardships. With basketball we have to overcome obstacles in order to win.
