Dust laying lightly
On the door that never closed
Waiting while it splits

Hi, my name is Saoirse. I'm seventeen and currently living in the United States. I am originally from Ireland, I moved to South Africa when I was six, to England when I was eleven and came over to America when I was fourteen. My passion for writing grew within the last year when I was struggling with my mental health. I truly owe everything to it. I'm particularly fond of poetry because I love the way it can express everything. It portrays so many emotions and events while always being understood differently depending on the reader, which is something I find captivating. However, I love all types of writing and love finding inspiration for everything I write by watching the world and thinking back to all the parts of it I've seen.
