Physics
It’s as if we were
One being, ripped apart, forced
To find each other.
Zeus had said that once,
That soul mates must traverse the world
In search of their love.
But Newton once said
Gravitational forces
Keep us close to Earth.
Being close to Earth
In turn keeps me close to you,
And Newton nor Zeus
can ever change that.
