Winter Wonderland
It is dark and cold.
The air is thin and chilly.
You can see your breath.
Now to say hello
just over the horizon
the sun rises up.
The water freezes
in scintillant icicles
fastened to the trees.
Look, here comes the snow
faintly, gently, falling slow.
Dancing through the air
You step on the grass
the ground is frigid and wet
Your feet sink down deep.
Diamonds on the ground
now become the untouched snow
a blanket of white.
You stand and treasure
the canvas God has painted
Winter Wonderland.
