revered dawn of love
was I too blind to see you
a false happiness
knife of your disguise
twisted into a blunt tongue
but had pierced my heart
omnipotent vines
you strangled around my lungs
couldn't breathe the air
frail hopes and deep scars
impaled by your irony
left me a fallen
classic history
fell and lost but I rose like
a phoenix from ash
