Living in the Present
memories will fade
and the Future uncertain,
choices lead somewhere
that's not certain
a tangle of confusion
always join the mix
take the step forward
focus on the surroundings
live in the Present
the time is Now
not Later, not Sometime soon
else regret follows
the Present is far
more precious, make memories
and commitments Now
the Time Limit is
always approaching, waiting
to steal precious Time
don't lose, this is our
Generation, Our Time in
the light, Now is ours.

It's so easy to leave something until later, to forget about it for a while, but that only makes it worse. There's more stuff piled up, and eventually something will break. Something will be sacrificed, and that urge to slack off will end in regret. Or so I've found with my personal experience. Don't leave something for the future, because the future will always have something unpleasant in store for that. Live in the present, and enjoy it. Have fun with the long-term effects, not the temporary.
