Crowds came to me pleased

The author's comments:

When I orignially wrote this, my stance was that I was writing The Garden of Eden, from the snake's perspective. After reviewing it many times now, my eyes have been opened that there are many takeaways you can get from it. Whatever you guys get out of it the first time, then that's what it means to you!

I feel like this has a deeper meaning than what first meets the eye. It's very intrigueing, and I find myself being able to relate to this on a deep level. It's as if a whole story was told within a few sentences. This is a very well written poem.
