Keep the hurt, keep the pain
Away from my light.
For I shall shine brighter
Than the moon at night.
My soul contains happiness that flies
High like a kite.
And the peace that I feel
Should stay in my sight.
Forgive the guilty,
And help the poor.
Open your heart
Like an open door.
Then maybe the hurt
And the pain that you feel
Can leave your heart and soar.
