Dragging my weight up the stairs

think I'm almost up there.

These days don’t get any sleep

although I do always dream.

Exhausted, I’m just tired

of listening to this choir,

these noises.

They linger in my mind

until my thoughts are erased

then there are just these voices.

So I take my seat

plug me into the heat
