The Stages of Life
You can find me in the land of Hart‒
the land of successful self-made families.
You can find me at the all-black, eight laned circle in a stadium some colleges
could only dream of,
You can find me driving country-side on a traffic-free road,
listening to my favorite songs.
You will find me with a big yard and a family to follow,
With sports and activities to never bore.
You will find me competing with a big logo of my country’s flag on my back-
and a circle of gold on my neck.
You will find me living by one of the five biggest bodies of water in the nation,
with a yard big enough to hold a farm and a house the size to make your jaw drop.
You used to find me taking trips to the most magical place on Earth-
Where mouse ears are worn by everyone and fireworks happen every night.
You used to my friends talking about kicking the bucket,
When it feels the bucket was instead about to kick us.
You used to find me telling everyone how much I loved them and how life’s a circle,
child life, adult life, and The End.
