Those Golden Days
There were days with blooming skies
which we touched with our own looks
We tried to skip school as for us it was a race
and now we remember and cherish those days that was a grace
There were friends and family who assisted us
and when we were too weak they carried us
We never stopped gleaming as sadness was confined
because of all the love and happiness that was behind
There were days we took everything for granted
because we all loved and wanted to become branded
We used to complain a lot when things never went our way
but when we want to do those things now we cannot do it anyway
Now 'Hope' is the only thing with feathers
that perches in the soul like heathers
And sings the tune without words
and never stop flying like birds.
