The neon lights flashing

Rain slithering down

The black sky looking

All inside the town

Tall buildings lit

Buildings full of life

A view I admit

Streets split with a knife

Breeze blew through the streets

Like love in the sky

Beautiful bright beats

Something I comply

A new street I meet

A week I feel free

Buildings of concrete

Home close to the sea

The rain goes away

But simply I can’t

And the sky goes gray

It's like an enchant

And then I decide

After all this time

I then said with pride

Will stay a longtime

Luis Diego, otherwise known as "Pollito" is an 18 year old writer/artist.

From the moment he could hold a pen, Luis Diego found solace in the power of words. Growing up in Mexico City and Guatemala, he found inspiration in the chaos of everyday life – the vibrant colors of street markets, the food, and the whispers of history in every cobblestone street.

Luis Diego's poems are a celebration of his Mexican heritage, infused with the universal experiences of adolescence – the ache of first love, the confusion of identity, and the search for meaning in a world that often feels too big to comprehend.
