Should've Said Yes
I thought you were my halo
I thought when you looked at me the world went crazy
But I was wrong
You’re officially over me
There’s nothing I could do, nothing I could say
To change your mind
I’m not even sure if we were ever meant to be
I’m sorry about before
When I broke your heart and told you no
I was going blind and in a tough time
But you pulled me out of it all
And helped me get back on my feet
Too bad I’m in defeat
I can no longer go to you for help
I try to keep my distance
&that’s how it’ll be for a while
Until I say
I give up
I can’t try anymore; I guess you’re not worth it
Like you put my heart together than pulled it apart
And it’ll be hard to get over you
After all the stuff we’ve been through I wish we could go back
