"I was thinking how nothing lasts and what a shame that is."-Benjamin Button

I don't want to write these words
because I don't want to think these thoughts
but how can I not think? when it surrounds me
everywhere I go

I can't stop feeling it
the pain and the love exist
And such little time ago
It seems so long, long ago
I held what I loved in my hand
but it slipped through the spaces, never to come back again

Everything is over
It's done for
It's gone

Everything that is, now was
in the past
and I can't go back

Everything is over
It's done
I'm finished for the end

Everything is over
How can I relive a touch, a feeling?
It's done, done
And I can't go back

It will happen all over again
Fall apart all over again
Experience the happiness,the joy,
then the love,
followed by pain
here to choke me down
again...

It will happen all over again
all over again
The same thing, the same thing
But I'm better off in the end

How can you tell me I'm better now? than before
Everything in pieces on the ground
How can you tell me I'm better now? than before
Better now, now broken
on the floor

I get what I want but I never wanted this
I get what I want but I never wanted this
I get what I want but I never wanted this

&quot; The poet ranks far below the painter in the representation of visible things, and far below the musician in that of invisible things. Why does the eye see a thing more clearly in dreams than the imagination when awake?,&quot;Leonardo da Vinci.

This was so wondeful, i feel the smae way. See life is better, when u stumble on to random poems.

I loved the way you put so much emotion to it, and its unable to judge. When you write I feel like I've been in your shoes feeling what you feel. This is great, i love it. Your a great writer.

live as if you&#039;ll die tomorrow, dream as if you&#039;ll live forever

I completely relate to these lyrics.

no matter how much you want to go back, and no matter how much you wish you could rewind time or take things back you can't. Hey, check out some of my work sometime.

This is beautiful, and right now, I can relate to it. I love poetry like this because it's simple, but it holds such strong emotion.

Galatians 1:10<br /> &quot;Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.&quot;

Depressingly beautiful, or beautifully depressing?

Really, though, it was lovely. And so true.
