Lies in the Truth
She thought she knew it all
Thought she had it all figured out
She wasn’t open to change
‘Cause it would destroy
The perfection of a world
She didn’t know had flaws
But then one day she found
None of it was real
No none of it’s real
So call down the stars
And rally the troops
Because she has found
Lies in her truth
Watching as ev’rything
Clatters to the floor
She doesn’t know
What’s real any more
So one day she woke up
From this dream
The dream that she thought
Was reality
Picking up pieces
Salv’ging what’s true
Stumbling and tripping
Over what she needs to do
So call down the stars
And rally the troops
Because she has found
Lies in her truth
Watching as ev’rything
Clatters to the floor
She doesn’t know
What’s real anymore
Someone go and help her
Clean up the mess
Someone go and help her
Call down the stars
Rally the troops
Because she has found
None of it’s true
The protective darkness
Is shedding its light
On ev’rything she knows
And none of it’s right
