im a real friend
I don’t care what you think about me like me or not
I’m going to continue to be me because I like it a lot
See I am proud to be me
I don’t change for other people and many would agree
I make people choose me as a friend for who I am
I only let certain people into my life call that a dam
I don’t have many friends because of this but I don’t care
As I walk by people may laugh and stare
I don’t let it phase me I go on with my day
To be equal to everyone else I pray
I think people should try to pick friends like I
The kind of friends no amount of money can buy
You may ask why I look at life the way I do
It because I want to be the real friend that nobody knew
People are astonished after they give me a chance
I don’t look like your average person at first glance
Im like a tire under pressure getting ready to blow
But push on with life and like a flare ill glow
