"Please note that I am saying this as I twirl my metaphorical mustache." ~Talon McCallister

I'm gonna hold you when you cry, and sweetheart when it's time
I'll have to leave you with a kiss and a goodbye
There;s no need to worry, I'll be all right just promise me you'll never lose hope
How do you fly if you have no wings? How do you soar if there's no wind? How do you become a soldier if you have no fight, no fight?
You try to speak but you're afraid, you try to scream, but all that comes out is air, is air
Don't lie, don't say you're fine
We both know you're not
How can I help you if you never say a word?
Baby, it's going to be okay.

Yes, it's weird how I wrote this. It has one verse and the chorus wraps up the whole song. It's a lullaby, so it's not meant to be long. My grandpa passed away 8 years ago,and I wrote this because I am in a bad place and needed some comfort. He was my 2nd Dad.
