Never-Ever Forget
(Verse 1)
I will never forget that day,
You passed me a folded paper,
knowing it was the old school way.
It read in bold yes or no?
(Chorus 1)
Beside the yes
I put a check mark.
I will never-ever forget you.
To God I have a question mark.
I have something to confess,
And that is,
Even though I can’t see you,
I will never-ever forget you.
(Verse 2)
Your lifetime was short,
but you will never be forgotten.
Then it came, your medical report.
To pull the plug, it was a yes or no?
(Chorus 1)
(Verse 3)
My heart broke that afternoon when your last words were
“I love you”.
You left a note that read “tell her,
Will I never-ever forget, yes or no?
(Chorus 2)
Beside the no,
He put a check mark.
He will never, no never-ever forget me.
To God he answers the question mark.
He has something to confess,
and that is,
Even though he will watch over me,
He will never, no no never, no no never-ever forget me.
Never-ever forget me.
Forget me.
No no never-ever forget me.
