Don't Jump off a Moving Train
Sometimes lies sink too far.
Into a flood of empty promises,
Hearts so scarred,
It looks like it just waged war.
Drained and changed, with no one to blame.
Hearts in chains injured and scathed.
You pick me up with one last breath,
And embrace me in your love that made me change.
Unsheathe the sword of bliss and brings me to my knees,
And execute me like I’m an animal.
I guess I’m in denial, and I suppose the feelings won’t ever go away.
I’ve arrived at the crossroads, and I don’t know where to go.
Every path I choose just brings me to the same destination.
The flipping scars won’t fade away,
And they still remind me of that fateful day.
When we met, go away.
Stupid cliché,
Darling you bring me to my knees,
Give me one last kiss,
Bring the metaphorical knife to my throat,
End it and,
Say Goodbye.
