A Heart From Two
I love you, but I love him too
His eyes the brightest golden
Your eyes the brightest blue
His love came too early, too soon
Your love cam too late, too true
His crimson heart dancing with unknown delight
A smile so genuine long into the night
Your hand so smooth and strong holding mine
whispers of a hidden love Divine
it wasn't his heart to steal, he knew
Affection closely guarded, hidden from view
Your name locked away known only to few
Swirling away as the summer breeze blew
A heart surrendered from one, from two
A quiet answer that's well past due
But what should I say, I don't know what to do
When I love him, but I'm in love with you.... ;)
