You Don't Know Me
She comes home from school
Runs to her room and lets the tears fall
She wonders why everyone hates her
She used to think she was beautiful
But now all she thinks is fat, ugly, and worthless
And in her pain she screams
You don’t know me
I barely know myself
Tell me who am I
Cause I’ve lost control of myself
You don’t know me
She reaches for her drawer
Grabs the only thing that saves her
When it’s really killing her
She takes the knife
Blood rushing from her wrist
Her parents come in and she screams
You don’t know me
I barely know myself
Tell me who am I
Cause I’ve lost control of myself
You don’t know me
Her mom rushes to get a cloth
While her dad screams and gets to her face
Finally the pills kick in
You don’t know me
I barely know myself
Tell me who am I
Cause I’ve lost control of myself
You don’t know me
She wakes up with brand new eyes
A brand new life
And she says
You don’t know me
I know myself
I know who I am
I am in control of myself
You don't know me
You don't know me
