An Arrow of Strange Love
you shot an arrow through my heart
a lily shaped ring was on my front door
the wind came and blew but only a space ship came to take me away.
I was not chosen, barely wanted, by any one but you.
Yet I made them love me, showed them a different side to who I could be, and decided to win for the love at home.
A new arrow the size of a boulder found its way to my heart. I fell in love with you, for survival my mind cried out, but my heart kept skipping beats around you.
I was not wanted, barely chosen, but you chose me to be your survival,
To let your heart fly, to let your words find my heart.
