draw me a line

Draw me a line into infinity and beyond
Till the last star stops burning
And the world moves on
Stretch the markings across space and time
And loopholes and brick walls
A single straight line
Use shades of blue to engrave that line
Light hues and hopes
And memories of mine
So when the last breath is taken and shrivels and dies
I’ll walk through the darkness
On a thread of clear skies
